Hanamushi's Doll Adventure Costumes: Collection and Completion

Audit the wardrobe and 48-costume target, compare route outfits, and separate Game Clear from Costume Complete.

Quick answer

Use the three wardrobe groups to check missing pieces. Costume Complete explicitly targets all 48 costumes; Game Clear is a separate badge whose English description conflicts with its Japanese story-ending text.

The clearest collection target in Hanamushi’s Doll Adventure is 48 costumes: that number appears in the official Roblox Costume Complete badge description. The game description separately names clothes, hats, and shoes, and the inspected walkthrough shows a wardrobe book with three corresponding groups. Use that visible collection to plan your cleanup. Reaching the end of the story and collecting every wearable are related goals, but they should not be treated as the same checkpoint.

This collection audit uses Roblox records checked October 16 and dated gameplay, not a firsthand playtest or an individually verified 48-location list. Roblox Master Guides’ chaptered October 13 recording supplies the wardrobe and route comparisons below.

Read the wardrobe as three independent choices

In the inspected 18:10 frame, the book has a headwear area at the top, a body-clothing area in the middle, and footwear at the bottom. A large doll preview occupies the right page. Red circles identify the selected pieces in that frame. The doll is wearing red eye-like headgear, a brown body garment, and green footwear. This is a useful demonstration of independent equipment slots rather than a single preset outfit.

When comparing your book with the recording, inspect one group at a time. First compare the top section, then the body section, then the shoes. A complete-looking outfit on the doll does not establish that all three collection groups are full. Conversely, changing a pair of shoes does not mean your other unlocked pieces have disappeared. The distinction between collected and equipped items is central to using this interface sensibly.

Take your own collection screenshot before a long return trip. Mark an absent silhouette or gap by its visual position rather than assigning an unofficial English item name. For example, “top section, beside the apple-shaped head” lets you return to the same collection position later. Include the landmark where you last checked that position, so you can compare both the book and your route.

Separate collection cleanup from travel equipment

The recorded route changes clothing around identifiable obstacles. Early on, the doll wears a blue dress at the house. Later it wears yellow flower-like headwear near the horned pair, a mechanical torso at the magnet crossing, and cat-like ears in the later scenes. These are concrete visual comparisons you can make when checking where the recorded player went next.

When a route stalls, compare the entire visible outfit and the landmark first. A garment of a similar color may still be a different collection piece. Then decide whether you are missing the item, have merely left it unequipped, or are looking at a different stage of the scene.

For the mechanical torso in particular, the footage shows the doll suspended beneath the hovering magnet-shaped creature at 10:00. That is a much stronger checkpoint than a vague instruction to “equip the good costume.” If you are following the route from Robot Factory, inspect the torso after finishing that puzzle and before making another long trip to the gap.

Use landmarks to organize a return sweep

The video visits several visually distinct areas: the mound of discarded toys, the television pile, the house exterior and rooms, the giant red shoes, the robot workshop, the roof and hanging laundry, the chain-framed area, the nine-eyed creature, mushrooms and snail, the fish scene, and the rocket machinery. A cleanup note organized by these landmarks is easier to follow than an unordered list of screenshots.

Begin with places where you remember noticing a distinct movable or selectable object. Record what changed after interacting with it and check the wardrobe before crossing several scenes. Mark the landmark as checked when the interaction and wardrobe comparison are complete. Leave a specific question beside any scene you still need to revisit, such as which book position changed after its puzzle.

Keep unfinished puzzles separate from places that only need a closer inspection. If you have not yet solved Nine Eyes or Mushrooms and the Snail, return to the puzzle route and use the named video chapter. If those are already resolved, compare collection gaps with the later completion footage instead of repeatedly replaying the same known mechanism. Your personal notes should describe a question you can answer on that visit.

Distinguish Game Clear from Costume Complete

The official badge API contains two different records: Game Clear, ID 1832191575106845, and Costume Complete, ID 1889268007779401. Costume Complete explicitly describes collecting all 48 costumes. The chaptered video also separates Game Clear, beginning at 14:42, from Costume Complete, beginning at 21:44. Those are good reasons to track the two goals independently.

There is a translation inconsistency worth understanding. Game Clear’s Japanese description says the player reached the end of the story, while its English display description says “Collected every costume.” That English wording overlaps with the collection goal. When checking your progress, use the badge name and ID as well as the translated description; the English description alone cannot distinguish these goals.

This also means that a story-ending screenshot is not enough to claim a completed wardrobe. The inspected recording contains wardrobe changes and additional collection activity around the later route. If you are pursuing Costume Complete, inspect the actual collection and the separate badge rather than treating the first ending-like scene as a universal completion certificate.

Use the two videos for different questions

Roblox Master Guides supplies a shorter chaptered route with explicit costume and puzzle headings. Its description claims all 48 costumes, and the official badge independently supports the total. Use the chapters to jump to a named obstacle or the final cleanup section. The start of a chapter is an entry point to that segment, not necessarily the exact instant a reward appears.

TheKacperosEN provides a separate approximately forty-minute walkthrough published October 9. Its description links the same Roblox place and presents an all-badges route. Use it as an additional visual comparison when the shorter video’s pace hides an interaction you want to inspect. Match the exact scene and wardrobe position when using that longer recording for a missing-piece comparison.

When comparing a specific costume, pause both videos on the same landmark and check the book. Avoid combining an outfit from one scene with a mechanism from another simply because the two clips are near the same timestamp. Different recording lengths, travel choices, and editing make time alone a poor identifier. The scene and collection position are the useful connection.

Decide what “finished” means for your session

For a story-focused session, the next useful objective may be the next named puzzle and eventually Game Clear. For collection-focused play, your objective is the separate 48-costume badge and the remaining gaps in the book. Choose one before beginning a long sweep. Switching between them without a note makes it easy to repeat solved scenes while overlooking a missing collectible.

Do not rely on published award percentages as drop chances or item rarity. The API includes aggregate badge-award statistics, but those numbers do not describe a random loot system. If your concern is missing saved progress, preserve your collection image and consult the current game’s information before resetting anything. A collection gap and a route blocked by unequipped clothing need different follow-up checks.

Once your target is reached, keep a final wardrobe image and the relevant badge record for your own reference. If a later update adds content, the dated total on this page can then be compared with the new official record. Until that happens, 48 is the checked target, not a claim that the game can never change.

Route

Step-by-step guide

  1. Audit the three clothing groups

Compare headwear, body clothes and footwear in the book before identifying an actual missing collection position.

  2. Separate route equipment from collection gaps

Use visible scene and outfit comparisons; do not assume every costume has an interchangeable special ability.

  3. Track the two completion goals

Check Game Clear and Costume Complete as distinct badge IDs, with the disclosed translation conflict kept visible.
